SALVALAI Graziano is Associate Professor at Politecnico di Milano, ABC Department, where he teaches the courses of Energy Efficient Buildings and Technology of Building Components. He is the Scientific Director of the BEE Lab. He is the scientific director of several funded projects, and author of more than 100 publications. His research focuses on innovative construction techniques, on the building-systems integration and on its control through energy simulation tools.

SESANA Marta Maria is Associate Professor at University of Brescia, DICATAM Deptartment, where she teaches the course of Building Architectural and Performance Engineering. She is the Deputy director of the BEE Lab. She is author of several publications on deep renovation for existing building, modeling and simulation and human-centered sustainability, regulations and tools for innovation, sustainability assessment and energy efficiency for the built environment.
