BEE Lab is firstly made by people, young and experienced scientists, with strong background in Building Architectural Engineering, who collaborate as a unique, but multisite team by Politecnico di Milano and Università degli Studi di Brescia.

BEE Lab is a Living Lab infrastructure funded by the MEZeroE project EU (H2020) equipped with various tools and instruments for applied research performed in collaboration with target groups of the construction sector to support the technological transfer of innovative solutions into the market.

The core of BEE Lab is to boost the decarbonization of the built environment on the following main topics:

– development and analysis of building technology and construction system;
– building simulation at different scale and details (i.e. urban modelling, performance analysis, life cycle assessment);
– development and testing of new smart materials for the built environment;
– human centered design through comfort analysis and occupancy behavior investigation.
